Jakarta (02/12), PT PP Infrastruktur and the Yayasan Kesejahteraan Karyawan Pembangunan Perumahan (YKKPP) officially signed a share sale and purchase agreement with PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (Mitratel) regarding the ownership of shares in PT Ultra Mandiri Telekomunikasi (UMT).
PT Ultra Mandiri Telekomunikasi is one of the subsidiaries of PT PP Infrastruktur, engaged in the telecommunications infrastructure sector in Indonesia. Through this transaction, PTPP as the holding company of PT PP Infrastruktur, successfully implemented one of its portfolio strategies to support business development.
The event was attended by Acting Assistant Deputy for Infrastructure Services at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Mr. Bin Nahadi, Representative of the Assistant Deputy for Telecommunications and Media at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Mr. Wawan Chaerul Anwar, President Director of PT PP (Persero) Tbk Mr. Novel Arsyad and his team, Director of Portfolio Strategy at PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk Mr. Budi Setyawan Wijaya, President Director of PT PP Infrastruktur Mr. Helmi Adam and his team, and President Director of PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk Mr. Theodorus Ardi Hartoko and his team.
The process of divesting shares in PT Ultra Mandiri Telekomunikasi was carried out on a commercial business basis, starting with the appointment of PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) as the financial advisor, and was open to the public. From several companies that expressed interest, one State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), two national private companies, and one foreign company were selected to participate in the beauty contest.
This signing is part of PTPP and PP Infra commitment to continue supporting the development of the telecommunications infrastructure sector in Indonesia. This collaboration also reflects the positive synergy between PTPP, PP Infra, and Mitratel to create added value for each of their stakeholders.
