Business Line & Operational Map

Background

Infrastructure plays an important role for the realization of the fulfillment of the basic needs of the community which is also a driving force in supporting economic growth and social activities

Our business development through 7 business lines, namely Water Management, Telecommunication Infrastructure, Logistics Infrastructure, Gas Network Infrastructure, Industrial Estates, Mass Transportation Modes and Ports is expected to increase the value of the company by applying the principles according to the company’s vision and mission.

Water Management

Clean water is one of the important aspects for survival that must be fulfilled. Until 2018, the access to safe drinking water in Indonesia has reached 87.75% of the population, but only 20.14% have enjoyed the access to piped water. Therefore, the existence of a Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM) is required.

SPAM is a vital infrastructure that processes water from the upstream, then to the reservoir, to the distribution of clean, ready-to-drink water to the community in the service area. The existence of this infrastructure is very important for daily needs, as well as supporting facilities for industry, ports, and other business sectors.

Telecommunication Infrastructure

Telecommunication infrastructure is the key to long-distance telecommunication networks, which is very important to support the dissemination of information well without distance and time restrictions. The existence of telecommunication infrastructure is considered to be crucial, especially given Indonesia’s challenging geographic and demographic conditions, so that telecommunication and information activities can be easily established. In addition, the development of telecommunication infrastructure is also important to facilitate community activities, increase the country’s economic growth, and support development goals.

Therefore, PT PP Infrastruktur is currently focused on developing the best and most trusted fiber optic network. This is then manifested by the formation of PT Ultra Mandiri Telekomunikasi (PT UMT), which focuses on providing telecommunication infrastructure (fiber optic) in Indonesia.

Toll Road

Indonesia still requires equal distribution of road access infrastructure, especially expressway/toll road as modes of land transportation between regions and cities. This is because with the existence of toll roads, people can carry out social and economic mobility properly and quickly. The existence of toll roads can improve the efficiency of the distribution system of goods and services between regions so that it can support the economic growth with regional development, as well as create equitable development results.

Thus, the toll road infrastructure sector is one of our investment focuses with the aim of helping to reduce the gap between regions, which in turn will improve the welfare of the Indonesian people.

Gas Network Infrastructure

The development of a good gas network infrastructure is considered important as an effort to increase the effectiveness of gas distribution and meet the need for sustainable domestic alternative energy. This development will cover various regions in Indonesia, so that people are able to get cleaner, safer, and cheaper sources of energy. In addition, this infrastructure also has good economic potential in the electricity, industry, transportation and household sectors.

PT PP Infrastruktur helps PT PGN Tbk fund the construction of 500,000 Household Connection Networks (SRT). This infrastructure procurement includes procurement of regulators, excavation of pipes to residential areas, pipe connection with butt fusion, and installation of gas meter from house to house. The development of the gas pipeline is estimated to last for three years and divided into two phases: 50,000 SRT in the first phase, and 450,000 SRT in the second phase.

Logistics Infrastructure

Logistics is one of the factors that play an important role in supporting the country’s economy. A supportive logistic infrastructure is needed so that economic growth is not hampered. This is because the condition of the logistic infrastructure is closely related to logistic costs and the cost of producing goods, so that it can result in low country competitiveness and hinder economic activities.

Indonesia, as an archipelagic country with natural resources and production activities that are widespread and a distribution process that uses multimodal means, requires good, equitable and integrated logistic infrastructure development. Therefore, the production results can have high competitiveness with other countries.

Industrial Zone

Industrial zone is needed for efficiency in investment and industrial activity. This is due to the fact that each industrial zone is equipped with facilities, infrastructure, and complete facilities to manage the environmental impacts caused by industrial waste.

Thus, local and foreign investors will find it easier to build industries in the area. The existence of this industrial zone can increase new business opportunities, support equal distribution of employment, and ultimately increase the economic growth index. Therefore, the industrial zone has become one of our focus investments.

Sea Port

In order to create a healthy competitiveness with other countries, and a prevalent distribution of logistics throughout Indonesia, this infrastructure sector becomes one of our main investments.

As for a good distribution of logistics, seaport will require container terminal facilities with adequate security systems, and efficient systems and operations.
